2016, the year proclaimed by Roger Dubuis as the Year of the Diva, sees the introduction of the World Premiere Black Velvet trilogy. A couple of week ago, on the occasion of the SIHH 2016, WorldTempus presented the first model of this trilogy, the Black Velvet "Paraíba" watch.
Let's discover today the other two watches that complete the trilogy, the "white" and "black" models.
The first variation epitomises pristine purity with the nobility of white diamonds framing the mother-of-pearl dial, as well as an immaculate and alluring white strap made of silkysoft fabric produced using state-of-the-art technologies.
The second interpretation is also graced with a white mother-of-pearl dial, but surrounded by 66 black spinels – a rare gemstone – totalling approximately 1.3 cts. This stylish model is fitted with a black strap in the same silkysoft fabric.
The three Black Velvet watches house the 172-part mechanical self-winding Calibre RD821, finely adjusted in six positions and delivering a 48-hour power reserve. Flaunting its beauty through the sapphire crystal case-back, Calibre RD821 is adorned with rhodium plating, ‘Côtes de Genève’ decoration and Poinçon de Genève finishes.
