The iconic Carrera and the phenomenon named Cara Delevingne join forces in giving rise to a special series of six versions bearing the signature of the young fashion model with her 11 million social network followers. The mischievous TAG Heuer ambassador has chosen padded calfskin leather and titanium carbide-treated black steel for the strap/bracelet of this model named after her and fitted with a bezel that may be optionally set with around one carat of 72 white or black Wesselton diamonds. The Carrera line, which celebrated its half-century of watchmaking conquests two years ago, is thus enjoying a new lease on life basking in Cara’s edgy it-girl glow. The untamable young woman has nonetheless opted for an understated look for her Carrera Cara Delevingne Edition: a highly legible pure black dial with subtly pink gold-plated hands and appliques, faceted lugs, her lion’s head emblem demurely engraved on the back only. With such a community, might this Carrera become the first ladies’ watch also worn by men?
