In celebration of its 245th year of uninterrupted watchmaking, Urban Jürgensen presents a new model in the Jürgensen 1745 collection. The new model has a case in 18-carat white gold and a hand-finished engine-turned black dial. The 40mm case consists of three parts and has a convex bezel with tapered lugs and a convex bezel. The dial and case back are covered with sapphire crystal for optimum transparency.
The dial is engine turned by hand on a one-piece solid silver base that is then coloured black. Slender white-gold hour markers indicate the time, which is read by hand-made solid white-gold hands, complete with the distinctive hour hand with its diamond-polished eye.
The Reference 2140 WG is powered by the Urban Jürgensen P4 movement, which is manually wound and offers small seconds display and a power reserve of 72 hours. It is complemented by a semi-matte black alligator leather strap with white-gold buckle.
