Traditionnelle split-seconds chronograph ultra-thin - Vacheron Constantin
Focus on Traditionnelle split-seconds chronograph ultra-thin – Collection Excellence Platine

Defined by Vacheron Constantin as combining aesthetic refinement and mechanical sophistication, the Traditionnelle collection is expanding its repertoire with a new technical feat. Alongside the grand complications, minute repeaters and perpetual calendar models, the Traditionnelle split-seconds chronograph ultra-thin – Collection Excellence Platine is now taking center-stage. Behind the scenes, the pace is set by the prestigious Calibre 3500 launched in 2015 to mark the 260th anniversary of the Manufacture. This movement, which can perform two simultaneous timing operations, pays tribute to the historical construction of Haute Horlogerie chronographs with its two column wheels and lateral clutch. It is also one of the thinnest for this type of complication, enabling the complete 42.5mm watch to measure just 10.72mm thick. These are elegant proportions for this 15-piece single-pusher chronograph crafted in 950 platinum from case to bezel and including the dial, crown and buckle. Even the stitching on the alligator strap is done using a woven platinum and silk thread.
