Malte small model, pink gold - Vacheron Constantin
In 2014, Vacheron Constantin's Malte collection is enriched with three models dedicated to women. Today, focus on the pink gold model...

In 1912, seeking to make a clean break with the rounded shapes of pocket watches and display a decidedly avant-garde spirit, Vacheron Constantin became one of the first watch manufacturers to offer barrel-shaped or ‘tonneau’ cases. This shape soon became widely appealing to both men and women. It has come to be associated with the most prestigious horological complications, as notably interpreted in the Malte collection.

The Malte small model's slender curves are a celebration of femininity. The pure, refined and classic lines are imbued with a delightfully modern touch and radiate a particularly sensual aura when accentuated by sparkling diamonds.

The applied gold Roman numerals, as well as the hour and minute hands and the small seconds hand, adopt a slender aesthetic that is discreet, contemporary and exquisitely feminine.

The bezel of the Malte small model in pink gold is set with a row of diamonds. The dial is sandblasted silver-toned. A strap in warm grey leather equipped with a half Maltese Cross-shaped pin buckle adds a feminine touch to the piece.

The new Malte small models come in a curving 28.30 x 38.75 mm case. They house a mechanical hand-wound movement, Calibre 1400. Developed and crafted by Vacheron Contantin, the latter may be admired through a transparent tonneau-shaped case-back echoing the shape of the case.

All three models bear the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva.
