The new Overseas ultra-thin perpetual calendar in pink gold reveals its technical complexity while exuding an aura of understated distinction.

In 2018, the Overseas collection is rounded off with two new models. First there was the Overseas Dual Time, previewed at the Dubai Watch Week, in November 2017. As for the Overseas ultra-thin perpetual calendar, Vacheron Constantin chose to waited until January 2018 to unveil it at the SIHH.

The new Overseas ultra-thin perpetual calendar is one of the slimmest watches on the market. It houses the iconic Vacheron Constantin Caliber 1120 QP/1, an ultra-thin mechanical self-winding movement powering perpetual calendar and moon-phase indications. This barely 4.05 mm thick movement comprising 276 parts keeps track of calendar irregularities with no need for correction until 2100. Beating at a frequency of 2.5 Hz (19,800 vph) and endowed with an approximately 40-hour power reserve, it drives the hours and minutes, perpetual calendar – day of the week, date, month and leap year on a 48-month counter – as well as moon-phase functions.
