Watches for St. Patrick’s Day - Green with envy

Watches for St. Patrick’s Day Green with envy

We use St. Patrick’s Day as an excuse to look at some of the latest emerald-green watches on the market.

Fabergé - Lady Fabergé
The Lady Fabergé has been designed as a pure ladies model with a number of prestigious features that set it apart from the crowd, such as the Vaucher Manufacture Calibre 3000 self-winding movement with 50-hour power reserve, a 22-carat gold personalized winding rotor, a crown set with moonstone and a sumptuous hand guilloche dial covered with green enamel. A matching green alligator leather strap (note the absence of stitching) completes this very feminine ensemble.

Kerbedanz - Tree of Life
Kerbedanz will be presenting its emerald-green Tree of Life model at Baselworld this year as a limited edition of 41 pieces. With each one set with 5.1 carats of emeralds, that’s a total of over 200 carats in weight of the stone – enough to keep those Irish eyes smiling for a while.  Since the brand is big on symbolism, the dial features an ornate Tree of Life motif in bas-relief on a green enamel background with diamond-encrusted branch tips. The model is completed by a green alligator leather strap for the perfect Irish look.

Audemars Piguet - Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph
The colourful bunch of new watches in the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph collection presented at this year’s SIHH are yet another example of Audemars Piguet breaking the rules that it first created. More lime-green than a true Irish emerald-green, this robust model stands out two-fold thanks to its robust design, brushed-steel case and integrated rubber strap.
