Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded the watch firm bearing his name in 1860. Symbolising a return to origins, a new movement was created in 1997 and christened «L.U.C» in tribute to the company founder. The «L.U.C 1.96» watch was the first to be equipped with a movement crafted in the Chopard workshops in Fleurier (Swiss Jura region). The L.U.C «Quattro» presented in Basel 2000 and fitted with the famous movement comprising two sets of double-stacked barrels, holds a pre-eminent position among the various models in the L.U.C collection.
Maison Chopard epitomises the alliance between watchmaking and jewellery. It has always known how to meet the expectations of its day, relying on four essential values: expertise, tradition, innovation and commitment to philanthropy, whilst working hard to pass on knowhow and skills to future generations.Find out more >
