GoS Watches, the watchmaking workshop led by master watchmaker Patrik Sjögren, has been named the industry winner in the watchmaking category. The award is presented annually to Swedish companies that outperform the industry average in terms of revenue, financial stability, and earnings.

Sweden is not traditionally associated with large-scale watchmaking, but GoS Watches has built an international reputation by combining classic haute horlogerie with Scandinavian materials, hand-forged Damascus steel, and an uncompromising finish at the workbench. For a small-scale, artisan-driven micro-manufacturer to achieve this top ranking marks a unique milestone.

“I’ve never let sales targets drive my watchmaking,” says Patrik Sjögren, master watchmaker and founder of GoS Watches. “What drives me is using each watch as a canvas for creativity and exploring new ideas, refining the craft, and making each watch a little better than the last. Seeing my small workshop receive this recognition is a wonderful affirmation that there is value in pursuing a patient, craftsmanship-focused vision. We are deeply grateful to the collectors and partners who make our work possible.”

The “Branch Winner” award is based on companies’ official annual reports, with only a small percentage of Sweden’s limited liability companies qualifying each year.
