On October 1st, Chronos24.pl and Polish Watch And Clock Collectors Club launched the second editon of the "Watch Of The Year" contest.

Within two months readers and the jury will have to make difficult choice of most interesting timepieces presented in 2011. "Watch Of The Year" is one of the most prestigious events that take place in Poland related to the watchmaking industry.

It collects the leading Swiss and German manufacturers, art lovers watchmaking, luxury timepieces collectors and journalists. It is the only event of its kind in the domestic market, which involves the selection of the finest watches from debuting in a calendar year. The competition is independent and isn't sponsored by any industry representative, allowing to maintain maximum objectivity. As Tomasz Kieùtyka - owner of Chronos24.pl - also emphasizes: "'Watch of the Year' is not only a summary of the year in the industry, but also promotes the idea of the beauty in traditional watchmaking art." Last year's awards gala took place in the stylish surroundings of the Sobañski Palace, Warsaw headquarters of the Polish Business Roundtable. This year's edition will have its final in one of the best polish restaurants "Na Zielnej". Invited guests will be able to taste delicious food and also find out for themselves about uniqueness of winning timepieces.
