Eva Leube is the A.H.C.I's newest candidate member. She spent a few years as Thomas Prescher's apprentice before moving to New Zealand four years ago. While there, she not only started a family, she worked on her own watch. Here at Baselworld she presents it for the very first time.

At 56 mm in length, the wristwatch named for her son called Ari curves around the entire wrist, but fits comfortably. Even more remarkable is the vintage Record pocket watch movement that Leuba rearranged and modified to fit her new concept. To do this, she practically turned the movement upside down and made new gear train wheels to accommodate both this and the crown now positioned at 6 o'clock.
