For the second year in a row, Glashütte Original is an official partner of the Zurich Film Festival that will take place from September 26 to October 6, 2013.
During that time, everything Zurich will revolve around the subject of cinema and festival visitors will have a chance to watch film premieres from around the world and engage in lively dialogues with the filmmakers on hand.
Glashütte Original will be at the festival from September 27 through October 5. The manufacture will have its own lounge right near the festival grounds, at Stadthausquai 11. Interested persons as well as Friends of the brand are welcome to visit the lounge. Accreditation may be obtained by writing to zff@glashuette-original.com.
Lounge guests will be able to take a close look at the new “Pavonina” collection of ladies’ watches, meet the Glashütte Original team and discuss the current collection with other connoisseurs of fine German watches. The lounge is open daily from 12 noon until midnight, and offers a quiet place to work, free WLAN access as well as snacks and refreshments.
The partnership with the Zurich Film Festival is part of a profound and comprehensive commitment on the part of Glashütte Original to sponsorship of the arts and cultural events. Since 2011 the German watchmaker has been a partner of the Berlin International Film Festival, where since 2012 it has presented the “Made in Germany” fellowship, destined to support young film directors.
