This victory makes Scott Dixon one of the most titled drivers in the world.
What’s more, Scott Dixon is a champion displaying a rare loyalty in his choices, remaining faithful to his team for fourteen years – also a record in this field. With his new title, Scott Dixon has brought them their one hundredth win on IndyCar circuits, a great many of which he has won personally.
“We’ve been partnering with Scott since 2012,” says Jean-Marie Schaller, Louis Moinet’s CEO. “He’s a champion who has established himself one step at a time, displaying unrivalled humility and constancy. We’re literally witnessing the birth of a legend, moulded by performance, precision and loyalty – values to which his titles are a worthy tribute, and with which we can fully identify.”
Louis Moinet and Scott Dixon have developed together an exclusive timepiece for the Legend collection, for which 365 watches have been produced. A two-pusher chronograph featuring a tachymeter scale and all the style codes of motor sport, the Scott Dixon Legend also boasts carbon fibre inserts, along with blue tints that hint at the driver's nickname, “Iceman” – earned thanks to his calm and control in all circumstances, even the most extreme IndyCar situations.
