Longines FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Final in Barcelona

Team Netherlands wins the Final held at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.

Longines is FEI’s Top Partner but also the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping Final, which took place on 30 September at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. As such, the Swiss watchmaking brand timed the victory of Team Netherlands made-up of Jur Vrieling on VDL Glasgow v. Merelsnest, Michel Hendrix on Baileys, Marc Houtzager on Sterrehof’s Calimero and Harrie Smolders on Don VHP. As a reward, the winning team members received an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Juan-Carlos Capelli, Longines Vice President and Head of International Marketing. United States’ Team finished second ahead of Team Belgium.

On Friday 29 September, Longines was associated with another highlight of the event, the Longines FEI Nations Cup™ Jumping - Challenge Cup, which was won by Team UAE in front of Team Ireland and Team Brazil.
 
This event was also the occasion for Longines and the FEI to announce the creation of two new awards, the Longines FEI World’s Best Jumping Rider and the Longines FEI World’s Best Jumping Horse. The Swiss watchmaking brand presented the Official Watch of the event, its new model Conquest V.H.P “Very High Precision”, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.
