Following the announcements of the partnership between Lorige and the Heart of Racing Team, as well as the appointment of the No. 009 Valkyrie’s pilot Marco Sørensen as a new Lorige ambassador, the fruits of this collaboration are now being revealed, once again evolving the world of racing watches.Lorige has the pleasure to launch the brand-new BL-Evolution “Hyperblack” & “Bleu Asphalte” versions, embodying the quest for perfection and performance shared by both Heart of Racing and Lorige teams. These new timepieces capture the thrill of competing on world’s famous racing tracks and crafting a victory on the wrist.
The BL-Evolution “Hyperblack” and ”Bleu Asphalte” are sporty and elegant versions, showcasing subtle colorful accents and a new hand-grained asphalt-textured dial, for those who dare to be «More Than Inspired». Each timepiece is engraved with the name and the date of the competition in which the brakes participated and this level of authenticity makes the Lorige timepieces genuinely exclusive.
BL-Evolution “Hyperblack”: the Radical Iteration
The BL-Evolution “Hyperblack” is a sporty and elegant version showcasing subtle green and yellow accents, echoing the colors of the No. 007 and No. 009 Heart of Racing Team’s Hypercars. Enhanced with British Racing Green neoralite, the numerals highlight the marbled appearance of the Carbon/Carbon sourced from brake pads from the World Endurance Championship. This effect can be accentuated by choosing a strap color that matches the numbers.
The “Hyperblack” version is powered by the LOR-DB02 caliber sublimated by a «Duo-Tone» finish composed of micro blasted black PVD main plate and bridges, rhodium-plated Geneva stripes and manual chamfering, giving even more depth and contrast to this exceptional piece.
This exclusive version will be crafted with Valkyries development brakes, first WEC race in Qatar or first participation of Aston Martin Endurance Team to the biggest French Endurance race of 2025.
“Bleu Asphalte”: Track-Inspired, Race-Born
Named as a tribute to the material composing the track where the pads are braking and complementing the collection, the new BL-Evolution “Bleu Asphalte” match the No. 23 Valkyrie Hypercar’s colors and is craft from AMR-LMH prototype brake pads sourced from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
The uniqueness of this model lies in its LOR-DB01 caliber with micro blasted and rhodium-plated main plate and bridges, NAC treated Geneva stripes and manual chamfering enhanced by a “Blue THOR” strap, giving this watch a distinctive and striking look. Whether choosing the 12 hours of Sebring 2025, the first podium of the team in Petit Le Mans or - soon - the Valkyrie’ first participation to the 24 hours of Daytona 2026 versions, the “Bleu Asphalte” is definitely a performance-driven timepiece.
Two New Icons, Swiss Made
Limited to only 50 pieces worldwide each, both versions come to life, as the recently unveiled BL-Evo «Gris Circuit», thanks to the manual caliber LOR-DB and its double barrel, offering 168 hours of power reserve. The reading of the power reserve has been facilitated thanks to a double display indication consisting of a hand and a window showing the number of days remaining. This exceptional power reserve, a meaningful feature, is perfectly integrated into Lorige’s endurance range, allowing the BL-Evolution to be worn daily while also being ideal for following the world’s longest endurance races, all without the need to worry about winding your timepiece. Among the 175 components, all hand-assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, a dynamometric crown has been added to take care of the high-precision mechanism and improve your everyday comfort.
Four months of R&D were required to develop the “Duo-Tone” finishes on the LOR-DB caliber, an exclusivity craft by Chronode SA for Lorige. When it comes to hand-made watchmaking finishes, this new Lorige is the most sophisticated of the BL-range. Craftsmanship is celebrated as in the ‘Bleu Asphalte’ version, in which all external parts are hand-satin finished. The dial has also been redesigned with a new hand-grained asphalt texture, giving the watch a bold new look while retaining its racing DNA. From Geneva stripes to manual chamfering, this new BL-Evo pays homage to Swiss craftsmanship, echoing the precision required by racing specialists.
Overall, these new iterations brilliantly showcase Lorige’s expertise in both racing design and watchmaking precision, offering even «More Than Inspired» luxury and timeless timepieces.
