Lorige, the Franco-Swiss independent watchmaker celebrated for fusing endurance racing with the art of haute horlogerie, has unveiled its most refined timepiece to date: the ultra limited Bleu Asphalte Gold Edition on the occasion of TimeToWatches 2026 in Geneva. This extraordinary watch marks a bold new chapter for the brand — the first Lorige timepiece to feature 5N rose gold, bringing a jewellery refinement to a watch built with the soul of a racing machine.

Bleu asphalte, reimagines in gold

Designed as a showcase to unveil its last novelty, the Lorige Time To Watches booth drew crowds thanks to a striking launch: the « Bleu Asphalte Gold Edition ». With a bezel and case back enhanced with 5N Rose Gold, Lorige created the surprise with this new model bringing a refined jewelry aesthetic to a timepiece defined by its bold and sporty character. This new iteration is surely the most exquisite Lorige timepiece. The case itself is constructed from Lorige’s patented Carbon/Carbon composite material — the same carbon brake pads, heated to 900°C, that have competed at the world’s most iconic circuits. No two cases are identical. Each carries the physical memory of a race once run.

Powering this new BL-Evo “Gold Edition” is the LOR-DB02 caliber sublimated by a «Duo-Tone» finish composed of micro blasted black PVD main plate and bridges, rhodium-plated Geneva stripes and manual chamfering, giving even more depth and contrast to this exceptional piece, visible to those who know where to look.

Crafted from Carbon/Carbon brake pads that contributed to the podium finish of the Heart of Racing Valkyrie No. 23 at the 2025 Petit Le Mans, the “Gold Edition” is adorned with Bleu Asphalte lacquer accents, echoing the striking livery of this triumphant machine.

The result is a watch that does not refer to motorsport: it’s motorsport - forever preserved in titanium, gold and Carbon/Carbon. The “BL-Evolution Bleu Asphalte Gold Edition” is thus one of the most exquisite expression of Lorige’s vision, designed for collector who demands that their watch carry a history, not just the time.

Geneva Watch Week, Lorige way

This year, and for the second year in a row, Lorige took part in TimeToWatches, believing in the power of independent watch brands and with the vision of creating something different and “More than inspired” by motorsport for this edition. The result is a booth completely designed around passion and immersion.

Created for the first time by the Time to Watches team for Lorige, the exterior “Pavillon” has been transformed into a bold luxury showcase. Designed to fully immerse visitors in the brand’s universe, it stands out as one of the most ambitious and visually captivating scenographic experience of the show.

As a symbol of the brand's origins, a Morgan LMP2 from Ligier group, directly imported from the Nevers Magny-Cours French circuit, took pride of place in the center of the pavilion, giving the chance to the visitors to see off track a racing car, which competed and finished the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2016. To complete the full experience, Lorige added a racing simulator, proving a better understanding to the visitors what it takes to drive a race car, even for just a few minutes.

For this special event, a bespoke Lorige Flying Central Tourbillon AS-01 set up has been created, showcasing a 1:8 scale model of the McLaren MP4/8 driven by Ayrton Senna in 1993, alongside a life-size sculpture of the legendary Brazilian driver, crafted by French artist Ian Philip Design.

To highlight the partnership between Lorige and the Heart of Racing Team, the pavilion features another creation by Ian Philip: a life-size half helmet of Lorige ambassador, Marco Sørensen, unveiling its 2026 season livery sponsored by Lorige, mounted against a carbon-fiber backdrop. This artwork is now on display at The Timepiece Collection showroom in Englewood, New Jersey.

All in all, Lorige transformed this new edition of Time to Watches into an opportunity to spark surprise and build excitement around its concept while asserting its legitimacy in the high-end Swiss Made segment at home, in Geneva.

Stay tuned for what’s coming up next year!
