The new wristwatch is a trophy for the wrist, celebrating the team’s back-to-back LMP2 victories in 2025 and 2026, with the latter delivering a historic one-two finish as the No. 43 and No. 343 finished first and second in class.
The partnership unites two independent teams driven by precision engineering and performance racing. In endurance racing, every second and every component can influence the final result, while in watchmaking, the same pursuit of precision and technical excellence is fundamental. Founded by former racing specialists who first met at the track, including race car engineers, a driver manager, and a Carbon/Carbon composite specialist, Lorige pioneered a patented process that converts race-used Carbon/Carbon brake pads into one-of-a-kind watch cases while retaining the unique character and history of the material. The brand’s rapid growth has been fueled largely by word of mouth among leading drivers, teams, and followers of the global racing circuit. Lorige timepieces represent both the pinnacle of racing precision and Swiss-made excellence. Each Lorige timepiece is fully assembled and finished by hand.
Similarly, Inter Europol Competition’s reputation has been built on a track record of international endurance racing success. Founded in 2010, the group has developed from its early years in single-seater and prototype racing into a front-running international endurance team competing across Europe, North America, and Asia. Inter Europol Competition currently competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup, and Asian Le Mans Series program. The team has claimed three LMP2 victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning in 2023 and 2025 before securing a historic one-two finish in 2026. Inter Europol Competition also claimed the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship LMP2 title in 2024 and continues to compete at the forefront of international prototype racing
For the BL-Evolution “Competition,” Lorige repurposed brake material from the team’s No. 43 and No. 343 LMP2 cars to create both the ultra-durable, ultra-lightweight monobloc case and dial, employing a patented process requiring three years of research and development. These elements, forged under the extreme racing conditions of heat, pressure, and deceleration, serve as a wrist-worn reminder of the team’s winning 2026 race effort. The 50 x 42 mm BL-Evolution “Competition” pairs its Carbon/Carbon case and dial with a satin-finished and polished grade 5 titanium bezel and case back. A matching titanium dynamometric crown is set with grey Neoralite inserts, while yellow and green accents throughout the watch reference Inter Europol Competition’s unmistakable team colors.
Beneath its gradient sapphire dial, a skeletonized upper bridge reveals the movement’s contrasting finishes, coupled with hours, minutes, seconds, and power-reserve indications. Sunray brushing radiates outward from the center of the seconds display, placing the visual emphasis on the smallest increments of time, where a single second can determine the outcome of a race. The redesigned two-part seconds display and power-reserve indicator add to the depth and precision of the dial architecture. Rhodium-plated numerals offer high legibility thanks to Super-Luminova GL inset in their recessed centers. The hands are accented with Grey GL Super-LumiNova®, while the indexes bear White GL Super-Luminova® accents. Rhodium-plated rings with InterEuropol yellow and green lacquer accents frame the seconds and power-reserve displays.
The BL-Evolution “Competition” draws its impressive power from its new manually wound LOR-DB03 caliber. Its double-barrel construction delivers a 168-hour, or seven-day, power reserve: impressive endurance that makes a fitting tribute to the race-winning endurance cars of the watch’s Carbon/Carbon source material. Despite its complexity, this powerhouse 31.10 mm movement measures a mere 3.98 mm thick, comprising 175 components, 29 jewels, and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 3 Hz. The caliber features Lorige’s “Duo-Tone” finishing, combining microblasted and rhodium-plated surfaces with sunray brushing and hand-executed chamfering. The case back continues the competition-inspired palette with satin finishing and grey lacquer details. A new two-part hybrid rubber and technical-fabric strap reinterprets the construction of a racing harness, incorporating Lorige’s Quick&Release system as a series feature, with a hand-polished and satin-finished grade 5 titanium folding clasp offering 6 mm of fine adjustment.
According to Clément Etienvre, Lorige CEO, “Inter Europol Competition represents exactly the kind of independent spirit, technical rigor, and determination that speaks to Lorige. The BL-Evolution “Competition” is not simply inspired by the team. It is physically forged from material that raced with them, transforming a defining chapter in their story into a mechanical symbol of victory that collectors can carry wherever they go.”
The brand looks to capitalize on its growing international renown within the racing community and collector circles by tapping FundTime LLC. The U.S. based active growth investor will lead the brand’s market growth through strategic investment, strategy, and selective distribution with a growing network of retail partners. According to Lior Arussy, Co-Founder of FundTime LLC: “The U.S. market is looking beyond familiar names for independent watches with real substance and provenance. Every Lorige is forged from material proven on the track, carrying a story of endurance under pressure. That gives the brand a powerful foundation for the road ahead.”
