Lin Xiaojun's impressive achievements in short track speed skating include a remarkable performance at the 2019 World Championships, where he secured gold in multiple events and the overall title, earning him the prestigious Golden Skate Blades. Further success followed at the 2024 World Championships, with gold medals in the men's 500m, mixed 2,000m relay, and men's 5,000m relay. In 2025, he became the first athlete to win gold at the Winter Olympics, Winter Youth Olympics, World Championships, World Cup, and Asian Winter Games, with his victory in the men's 500m at the Asian Winter Games.
