Patek Philippe Christie’s sets global record for the most expensive watch auctioned online
The Patek Philippe ‘Sky Moon Tourbillon’ achieved US$ 5.8 million
Results highlight a strong start to the watch season for Christie's as Christie’s Hong Kong "Watches Online: Top of the Time" totalled US$8,420,555. Hong Kong remains a major global collecting hub for watches with participation from 48 countries across 7 continents. Online sales are a key channel for millennials, who represented 40% of buyers.
