WorldTempus Team Test X Omega

We kicked off the week with a fun WorldTempus Team Test. Instead of one of us testing a watch, all our journalists are now getting involved. This week we were testing the Omega Seamaster “Beijing 2022” editions and decided to do our own mini Winter Olympics at the office. Some of us took the watch to the mountains, while others tried their luck at the ice-skating rink. Luckily, no bones or sapphire crystals were harmed in the process. Follow the fun here

Baume & Mercier X Pierre Soulages

Combining abstract art and watchmaking is not the most obvious operation, but Baume & Mercier has really done a fabulous job at miniaturizing the work of one of the greatest modern artists of all time, Pierre Soulages. Soulages is also known as “the painter of black” for his canvases that he coats with black acrylic paint and then works with tools and brushes to create an interplay of textures. Baume & Mercier has found inspiration in his work for this tribute to the artist Hampton special edition, which we just love.
