A one-of-a-kind watch - Anonimo Militare
1 minute read
You can buy the only Anonimo Militare in blue with a personalized dial exclusively from WorldTempus for the same price as the standard model.

The Anonimo Militare collection perpetuates the Florentine heritage of bronze watch cases. An allusion to the city’s role in the production of diving accessories, including some of the first true divers’ watches, its bronze case evokes the copper diving helmets of yore. Thus the owner of an Anonimo Militare with a bronze case possesses a timepiece that will evolve with age as the case takes on a wonderful patina that is so prized by collectors.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of WorldTempus, Anonimo has produced a unique dial on which the theme around the number 15, which has been interpreted differently on each of the six unique pieces that WorldTempus is offering for sale, is seen in two different ways. On the Anonimo Militare unique piece, the 15 is found, slightly offset, inside the small seconds subdial at 3 o’clock, where it is the only numeral visible. The small-seconds dial on the regular model has no markings at all. Furthermore, the date window on the opposite side of the dial, which has an unusual “scratched” finish quite unlike any other watch on the market, hides an extra surprise on the 15th of the month, when the white on black numeral turns into a red on black “15” to add an extra touch of originality to the piece. For the final touch of individuality, the Anonimo Militare has a protected crown at 12 o’clock, which is accessible by a locking mechanism integrated with the strap.

As your personal concierge for this and all other unique pieces, I can confirm that this particular piece has seen the most interest so far, starting within hours of the announcement of our sale of six unique pieces for our 15th anniversary. At the time of writing, however, and taking into account those on the waiting list who have yet to make a firm commitment, the watch remains available for the standard retail price of 3,550 Swiss francs (including Swiss VAT).
