Highly original skeletonisation and ultra-light movement

The engraving and sculpture work on the bridge, inspired by Asian bamboo scaffolding, reveals exceptional savoir-fair, worthy of the greatest horologist craftsmen.

The extreme finesse of this skeletonisation is coupled with the great lightness of the movement, weighing only 10.5 grams for the imposing size of 26.5 x 31.5 mm with a thickness of 8.6 mm.

Modern materials are combined through the aluminium-lithium of which the bridge is composed, and the black gold used to treat the main plate, the train wheels and the barrel.

Rectangular case inspired by construction

If the watch mechanism makes reference to bamboo scaffolding, the rectangular case with its purity of lines evokes the building itself. The case's not insignificant dimensions, 43.2 x 40.2 mm, contrast with the purity brought by the translucent dial (glass with sapphire case back).

Here in 150 palladium white gold, the Bamboo's appearance can, like all Badollet Instruments of Time, be personalised according to the purchaser's desires: ceramic, sapphire, engraved or jewel-encrusted, etc. Even a titanium version will later appear, accentuating the lightness of the timepiece.

Free of all artifice, this Instrument of Time takes simplicity to thsimplicity the extreme by conserving the scaffolding- the sublime engraved movement- whilst refining its structure to the maximum.

Watertight at a depth of 30 metres and produced in an edition which is, by its very nature, limited, the “Bamboo” skeleton tourbillon comes with a crocodile leather strap with folding clasp in 150 palladium white gold.
