CENTURY, the Swiss manufacturer of sapphire watches and jewellery is proud to announce the opening of two new boutiques in China. End of october, its 5th boutique in China has been opened at the Guoda Mall, one of the largest shopping facility in Hangzhou. Two weeks after, the 6th CENTURY boutique has been inaugurated in the heart of Wenzhou at the Jiefang Road, the most prestigious shopping address of the city.
These new openings mark a significant milestone in the brand's growth in China. However, there has always been an emotional connection between the Swiss company's philosophy and the cultural values of the country. Chinese clients appreciate CENTURY's products for their quality, craftsmanship and exclusivity but above all for their powerful and timeless design. CENTURY CEO, Mr. Klingenberg, is very glad to work with Shanghai Garcing Group as local partner to assist the Swiss brand in expanding its influence and retail network in the country.
After Tokyo, Kuwait, Odessa, Kharkov, Macao, Kunming, Taiyuan and Wuhan, CENTURY currently counts 10 flagship stores. These two additionnal prestigious addresses are also a landmark step in affirming the determination of the brand to set up a worldwide network of own-name boutiques.
The entire CENTURY world is reflected in both boutiques: Beautiful off-white lacquered wooden showcases and displays wrapped in luxurious textiles are enhanced by subtle fuchsia touches and a refined lighting system. These warm and intimate settings resolutely radiate the brand's core values: MODERNITY, LUXURY and ROMANCE. In these cozy environments, the guest will discover the entire CENTURY watch collection beautifully hightlighted, including “Dragon Stone“, “Leela” “Mogul” and the spectacular men's collection “Esquire”. Among these offerings will also be featured the prestigious CENTURY's jewellery line “Temptation”.

THE CENTURY KUNMING BOUTIQUE GRAND OPENING
1st of November 2008 - Located at the Gingko Center, the most luxurious shopping facility in Kunming, the second Century boutique opened in China has been attracting much attention since its soft opening in August 2008.
In celebration of this successful milestone, CENTURY and his local partner Shanghai Gracing Group officiated together the opening of the boutique by inviting local celebrities journalists and brand lovers. The opening ceremony included a press conference, a short model show and a stylish cocktail reception during which VIP guests were given the opportunity to discover the CENTURY creations.
The highlight of the evening was the presence of the famous Chinese actress and pop singer Vicki Zhao. She was adorned with an exceptional „Grace“ timepiece and the splendid Empire pendant. After a brief interview session, Vicki Zhao gave the media a tour of the new CENTURY boutique.
