Joséphine was advanced for its time and she led fashion changes like the carrying of the tiara on the forehead and the appearance of the “chérusque” shape of the dresses. So like Napoléon Bonaparte's beloved, the watches are feminine, delicate and daring.
Joséphine watches, real bijou watches, enhance this legacy through two aesthetics: “chérusque” (on small quartz watches) and “tiara” (on large automatic watches), declined in white or pink gold, set off with diamonds.

Refering to the Empire time fashion and to the sweet love of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress, the Joséphine jewellery watches reveal various interpretations of the Chaumet tiara history to reveal a princess in every woman.
The design of the small models is a direct interpretation of the “chérusque” motif, the characteristic lace found on imperial dresses collars for a subtle, willowy and eternal jewellery watch. It reveals, thanks to its curved glass, a magnified number 12, as a reference to Chaumet's address on the Place Vendôme.
The large round model pays tribute to the tiara that Joséphine succeeded in bringing back to the Court. Either with a genuine jewellery tiara set with over 80 brilliant-cut diamonds, which crowns the case of a striking timepiece; or as a diamond rain, a delicate naturalistic tiara exquisitely set at the heart of a large & deep grey dial.Precious
