The Oscar ceremony of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences took place in Los Angeles last night. Chopard was on the wrist of two of the nominees for Best Actor—and one of them even took the award home.

Colin Firth movingly played King George VI in the phenomenal Hollywood film “The King's Speech.” The outstanding performance brought him the coveted Best Actor award last night at the ceremony in the Kodak Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles. He received the award wearing a Chopard L.U.C XPS in white gold with a black dial.
Chopard also dressed several of the female actors in stunning jewels in addition to another nominee for the Best Actor award: Javier Bardem – nominated for his leading role in “Biutiful” – had a white gold limited edition L.U.C Regulateur with a gold dial on his wrist.
