A first for Chopard: a ladies watch endowed with the exceptional L.U.C movement.
The L.U.C Tourbillon Lady watch is an example of Chopard's highest expertise. It exists as a subtle blend of Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie. Baguette diamonds decorate the entire case and enhance a grand complication dial. It includes a tourbillon with the small seconds at 6 o'clock and an ample power reserve at 12 o'clock. A stylish yet simple letter C in polished gold is stamped on the Tourbillon bridge, both elegant and modern in appearance.
Under the setting lies a magnificent movement, not only in terms of its complexity but also in terms of its aesthetic beauty. With four stacked barrels, a Chopard exclusive, the L.U.C 4T calibre allows the watch an exceptional power reserve of 9 days. The movement, entirely hand-decorated, is COSC certified and carries the Poinçon de Genève seal.
For twelve years L.U.C watches have been made for individuals who are passionate about fine watch making. The Tourbillon, king of complications, has made a number of stage appearances over the years: the Classic, the Steel Wings with its bridge in the shape of a wing, the Heritage with its gold movement and the Titan SL with its aluminium frame.
However whilst in the past women with a penchant for technology have often been seduced by the contemporary lines and the high quality movements of these watches, today Chopard has produced a Tourbillon exclusively with them in mind. Available in a limited edition series of 25 pieces in rose gold and 25 in white gold.
