Pierre Jacques - De Bethune
Profile of De Bethune's CEO.

The De Bethune manufacture was created in 2002 by David Zanetta, a dedicated historian, art collector and watch aficionado, and Denis Flageollet, a watchmaker and the son, grandson and great-grandson of watchmakers. The former is the company’s president and artistic director, the latter is technical director.
In 2011 they asked Pierre Jacques to join them. The brand’s CEO is a Frenchman who lived in Belgium before moving to Switzerland. After studying at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva he began his professional career in publishing, as sales manager of Promoéditions. In 2000 Pierre Jacques created watchmaking magazine GMT with Brice Lechevalier, but withdrew in 2010 to join Geneva boutique Les Ambassadeurs as managing director. On joining De Bethune, Pierre Jacques was also obliged to step down from the organising committee of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, a role he had occupied for two years.
