You guys sitting down? Because we’ve got some news for you. The annual WorldTempus Big Summer Competition is back! (Apologies to our Antipodean friends for the nomenclature, clearly biased towards Northern Hemisphere inhabitants.) To be perfectly accurate, it’s been back for the last four days, having started on 1 July. We probably should have told you before, but we’ve been kind of distracted with the news that was released that day about a little thing called Only Watch — ie, the biggest and most anticipated watch charity auction in the world.
Back to the current subject. The last two years, if you recall, we’ve offered beach vacations as our grand prize. This year, we wanted to switch things around. (I think a lot of you will sympathise with our desire for a change.) Instead of offering a beach holiday to our beloved readers, we’re taking it for ourselves! Just kidding. We still love you, our amazing and ever-growing WorldTempus family. We’re giving away a three-night stay in a luxury spa resort in the exclusive and shockingly beautiful Alpine village of Andermatt. Google it. I don’t want to say that it’ll take your breath away, because that’s not a good phrase to employ during a global respiratory disease pandemic, so let’s just say that Andermatt is the kind of place that will make you realise how appalling unpicturesque most of the world is in comparison. God was in a good mood when creating a place like Andermatt.
The WorldTempus Big Summer Competition 2021 runs from now (four days ago, technically) until the end of August.
