Inspired by AP’s 150th anniversary, the exhibition will celebrate the rich heritage and spirit of collaboration at the heart of the watchmaking industry. A dedicated space will honour the historic établissage system that Audemars Piguet was founded on, offering visitors an interactive and educational journey into the traditional techniques that have fuelled centuries of innovation.
CELEBRATING HERITAGE AND COLLABORATION
Since its founding in 1875, Audemars Piguet has thrived on collaboration. In its earliest days, the Manufacture relied on the établissage system—a network of highly specialised artisans and workshops in the Vallée de Joux, each responsible for crafting a specific watch component. As the établisseur, Audemars Piguet coordinated this work, ordering and collecting the various components which it then assembled into unique, hand-finished timepieces. While this way of working naturally evolved over time, the spirit of co-creation endures; today, Audemars Piguet is firmly committed to supporting its partners, suppliers and local talent, upholding the values of solidarity and camaraderie that unite the industry.
The tradition of établissage will serve as the inspiration behind AP’s presence at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026. Bridging past and present, the exhibition will showcase the time-honoured techniques that continue to fuel contemporary creativity, shining a light on both individual expertise and the power of the collective.
OPENING THE DOORS TO WATCHMAKING
Reaffirming its longstanding commitment to engaging with the watchmaking community and the public at large, Audemars Piguet’s participation at Watches and Wonders 2026 reflects a desire to make the world of watchmaking more accessible to a wider audience. As the brand celebrates its 150th anniversary, it is more dedicated than ever to sharing its universe with people near and far, inspiring future watchmakers and new generations of watch lovers to dream.
Beyond the Palexpo venue, the Manufacture will bring its vision to the heart of Geneva through a series of public activations aligned with the fair’s expanding “In the City” programme, including a pop-up located at the historic Pont de la Machine. These events will celebrate Switzerland’s enduring horological legacy and encourage the public to engage with watchmaking in new ways.
“Watches and Wonders is more than an exhibition – it is a space for meaningful exchange with our peers and a celebration of our shared heritage and craftsmanship. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Audemars Piguet’s world as we shape the future of watchmaking together.”
