Throughout the month of February, Bvlgari marked 120 years of its presence in St. Moritz by hosting a selection of intimate experiences celebrating the Maison’s creativity, craftsmanship and heritage. Held over several weekends, these moments welcomed a select group of guests to discover Bvlgari’s savoir-faire, culminating in a private dinner at the legendary Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.

First Weekend (7–8 February): Watchmaking Excellence

Guests were introduced to Bvlgari’s mechanical mastery by Pascal Legendre, Master Watchmaker of the Grande Sonnerie. Through his expertise, he highlighted the Maison’s evolution in Haute Horlogerie, showcasing the precision, artistry and innovation that define Bvlgari’s approach to watchmaking, where technical excellence meets creative vision and Roman savoir-faire.

Second Weekend (13–14 February): Leather Goods & Accessories

Mary Katrantzou, Creative Director of Bvlgari Leather Goods and Accessories, hosted an intimate session focused on her creative vision and design language. Since joining the Maison in 2024, she has explored the dialogue between jewelry and accessories, developing collections that combine color, pattern and craftsmanship while building on Bvlgari’s rich heritage of iconic forms.

Third Weekend (21 February): Gala Dinner & Heritage Celebration

The occasion concluded with a private dinner at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, with Lucia Silvestri, Bvlgari Jewelry Creative and Gems Purchasing Director, as guest of honor. A long-standing figure within the Maison, Lucia embodies and conveys the spirit of Bvlgari, continuing to play a pivotal role in shaping a strong and instantly recognizable identity through the elements that have made the brand unique on the global stage. These events marked a defining moment for Bvlgari in St. Moritz, a location at the heart of the Maison’s history. In 1906, the St. Moritz boutique became Bvlgari’s first permanent location outside of Italy, the brand’s home country, marking a historic milestone that signaled the beginning of its global expansion.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari, commented: “Sotirio Bulgari, our founder, was a visionary who crossed the sea from Greece to Italy in the late 19th century, bringing with him a profound sense of beauty, craftsmanship and cultural curiosity. From that journey was born Bvlgari, not only Italy’s leading jeweler, but a unique voice in global luxury. He understood the importance of going beyond borders, following his clients and engaging with places that shared a love for excellence. Opening the St. Moritz boutique was a natural extension of this vision. More than a century later, that pioneering spirit continues to define who we are.”

Initially conceived as a seasonal boutique, over the years, the St. Moritz boutique has become a point of reference, reflecting Sotirio Bvlgari’s visionary spirit, where Roman elegance meets Alpine sophistication, welcoming international clientele across decades. Facing the legendary Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, the boutique was fully renovated in December 2023 and today offers a refined setting where Roman warmth, exceptional craftsmanship and contemporary design blend seamlessly with the understated elegance of the mountains.
