The Maison renewed its participation as Sponsor and Official Timekeeper, alongside brand Ambassador Miki Biasion, two-time World Rally Champion. On this occasion, Biasion thrilled the public at the wheel of the Lancia 037 Totip 1983 customized by Eberhard & Co., the very car with which he triumphed at the Rally Costa Smeralda, marking his consecration on the European rally scene.
Rallylegend was also the stage for the presentation of the new Lancia HF collector’s timepiece, born from the collaboration between Eberhard & Co. and Lancia. This watch celebrated the return of the legendary HF logo – acronym for High Fidelity – and the unmistakable red elephant, symbols that embodied the most sporting soul of the Turinbased brand. A legacy rooted in international rally triumphs, reborn in a modern guise faithful to its original spirit while embracing new challenges.
As Mario Peserico, General Manager of Eberhard & Co., stated: «Being the Official Timekeeper of Rallylegend represented once again an engaging experience and a unique opportunity to connect and interact with many motorsport enthusiasts. In this edition, with the presence of Miki Biasion and the new Lancia HF, we wished to pay tribute not only to the golden age of rallying but also to its most vibrant legacy, which continues to inspire and transmit emotions. »
Throughout the four days of the event, alongside more than 200 crews from 24 countries, great names from the rally world took to the track, including Kalle Rovanperä, Markku Alen, Stig Blomqvist, Gigi Galli with Alex Gelsomino in memory of Ken Block, Gustavo Trelles, Armin Schwarz, François Delecour, Simon Jean Joseph, Patrick Snijers, Tony Fassina and Adartico Vudafieri.
There was also great anticipation for Simone Faggioli, absolute winner of the 103rd Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and holder of 11 European and 11 national titles in the Hill Climb Championship. The first Italian to reach the top step of the podium in the legendary ‘Race to the Clouds’, Faggioli was awarded a Champion V special Eberhard & Co. timepiece in recognition of his extraordinary achievement in what is considered one of the most demanding races in the world.
The Maison has finally awarded the Jean-Joseph – Pivato team, winner of the Classic category and protagonist of an outstanding series of performances behind the wheel of the 1995 Subaru Impreza 555. A success that renews and strengthens the Maison’s deep bond with the world of motorsports and great sporting achievements..
