Eberhard & Co. is renewing its participation as Official Timekeeper of the Genoa Boat Show, one of the most important events in the sector on an international level: a reference point for the presentation of novelties that brings together the industry and nautical enthusiasts.
The Swiss Maison will be one of the main protagonists of the event, with a large lounge dedicated to it, and the Teatro del Mare, which hosts a rich programme of events and meetings, will become the Eberhard & Co. Theatre.
With its 200,000 square metres between land and water, the show is an exceptional context that Eberhard & Co. has chosen to tell the public about its deep bond with the world of the sea and the ventures and people that are part of it. It is a bond that goes back a long way and that, in its many chapters, follows the history of the Maison since the 1930s, when the officers of the Regia Marina (the Italian Navy) received an Eberhard & Co. watch as a sign of distinction for their role.
The pioneering Scafograf collection, presented in 1959, launched a generation of sports timepieces from Eberhard & Co. dedicated to the deep sea: from chronographs such as the Chrono Marine and the Champion Mareoscope, to special editions such as the Azzurra (the official watch of the 1983 America's Cup), to the participation in the Class 1 Offshore World Championship in 1985, or more recently, the participation as Official Timekeeper of the Melges Championship and the co-sponsorship with Audi of the Audi-Eberhard Melges 32 boat.

Inside the Eberhard & Co. lounge, visitors will be able to discover the Swiss Maison's latest releases and icons, including the Scafograf 300 MCMLIX collection of diver's watches, presented this year in a new look with a dial and matching bezel in a warm, vintage-inspired brown tone.
The public at the boat show will also be able to admire the limited edition that Eberhard & Co. is dedicating to the 75th anniversary of Tex Willer: a special collector's edition of the Chrono 4, the chronograph that made the history of the house, reinterpreted as a tribute to the legendary Ranger from the Sergio Bonelli Editore comics.
In this occasion will be also presented Eberhard & Co.'s first project into the sportswear sector: Scafojacket, a capsule collection of technical jackets created in partnership with the historic brand Murphy & Nye.
