Experience at the SIHH Geneva fine watch show demonstrates that images formed an important part of the content tweeted during the event. Consequently, Worldtempus has decided to organise a picture contest to mark Baselworld and the launch of the baselworldtweet.com platform.
Participants will compete in 2 categories: "Photos of watches" (the most beautiful watch photos, the most original settings, etc.) and "Unusual photos of Baselword" (to get the creative juices flowing at Basel and offer those not attending an alternative view of the show).
Taking part in the contest couldn't be easier, simply tweet your photo and include the relevant category hashtag in your message:
- #wtphotom for photos of watches
- #wtphotoi for unusual photos
All photos will be displayed on the www.baselworldtweet.com site, in a dedicated "Picture Contest" feed. The contest is open from 7 to 16 March and only photos tweeted between these dates will be eligible to enter. Once Baselworld closes, the Worldtempus editorial team will select the best photo in each category.

The "Unusual photos of Baselworld" (#wtphotoi) category winner will receive a Raymond Weil Tradition watch with retrograde day indicator.

www.baselworldtweet.com is a website where you can follow all the latest tweets about Baselworld, watch brands and their new products, and also interact directly via the Twitter microblogging site.
The Baselworldtweet.com platform is made available by Worldtempus.com, the top watch information website, in partnership with Jaquet-Droz and Louis-Vuitton. It has been created with the assistance of Up-All-Night.ch, the social network specialists.
