For more than two centuries, Breguet and Russia have maintained warm relations. Today, Breguet makes a point of honor preserving this special relationship.
Breguet had the privilege of creating timepieces for diplomatic, scientific, military and financial prominent Russian figures, including the Tsar Alexander I. Since 1801 – year when Breguet was rewarded the patent for the invention of the tourbillon – the General Yermolov, Prince Gagarin, Barons Podmansky and Moltschanov also become regular customers of the watchmaker and covet his famous invention.
Recently, Breguet invited its VIP clients to the Drama theater in Yekaterinburg - one of the oldest in the city - for a presentation of the show "Figaro. The events of one day". The performance was followed by a gastronomic dinner after which Breguet introduced its different collections.
More than 200 years after its creation, the tourbillon remains one of the most fascinating horological complications. It is to be found in different Breguet contemporary timepieces, including the Classique Grande Complication 3358, available in two versions - gold dial hand-engraved on a rose engine, with translucent blue or red enamel coating.
