The new boutique is located in the XinTianDi district, in Shanghai. It is the brand's sixth boutique in Asia, after Hong Kong, Macau and Tokyo.
Also in Shanghai, Jaquet Droz unveils an exceptional exhibition at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in the historic Bund district, on the occasion of the brand's 275th anniversary. Told in five chapters, it gives an insight into the many facets of the Swiss watchmaker and a grasp of how his legacy remains perfectly preserved today. This journey through time underscores the continuity between the old pieces of the eighteenth century and contemporary creations: automata, exceptional pieces from the artistic craft workshops, birds in all their forms, a true source of inspiration for set design, rivaling in beauty the many timeless, iconic legends of watchmaking.
On view until July 2, 2013, this exhibition will then tour the rest of Asia and the world.
