The 2016 Archery World Cup began in Shanghai, China, at the end of April, before visiting Medellin, Colombia in May, Antalya, Turkey in June and culminated this weekend in an exciting final in Odense, Denmark. The title in compound was claimed by Mike Schloesser (Netherlands) and Marcella Tonioli (Italy), while Brady Ellison (USA) and Ki Bo Bae (Korea) were the winners in the recurve category.

To round off the final, the Swiss watch brand Longines, Official Partner and Timekeeper of the Archery World Cup since 2008, presented the Longines Prize for Precision to the recurve archers who scored the most “10s” throughout the whole season: Brady Ellison from the USA – 2016 World Cup champion in the recurve category and four-time winner of the Longines Prize for Precision – and Tan Ya-Ting from Tapei. Both recipients received a Longines watch, a trophy and a cheque.
