Longines A new application
Longines launches its new horse racing application.
On the occasion of the Longines Grosser Preis von Berlin, Longines launched its new application, which is using the Longines Positioning System. This tool provides a live experience of horses races and race time accurancy, as it produces detailed statistics about horses such as average speed or intermediate time to tablet users.
Longines gave the opportunity to horse racing enthusiasts to test the application and these functions such as the replay.
As Official Partner of this important race day, Longines timed the victory of Dschingis Secret ridden by Adrie de Vries. The winning jockey, owner and trainer received a Longines watch to honor their performance.
Longines also presented the Official Watch of the Longines Grosser Preis von Berlin, a new variation of The Longines Master Collection, displaying a sunray blue dial. This fashionable chromatic variation is perfectly in line with the classic and understated spirit of this collection. The elegant timepiece, housing a mechanical self-winding movement, is complimented by a blue alligator watch strap.
