Richard Mille Full Speed Ahead with McLaren Automotive
For the launch of the RM 40-01 Tourbillon Automatic McLaren Speedtail, Richard Mille and McLaren Automotive organized a day dedicated to driving
Richard Mille and McLaren Automotive have been partners for five years now and recently launched a brand-new collaborative timepiece, the RM 40-01 Tourbillon Automotive McLaren Speedtail. This watch is inspired by the characteristics of the hypercar of the same name that goes from 0 to 200km/h in 6.6 seconds, has 1,070 horsepower, and a top speed of 403km/h.

To celebrate this new timepiece, McLaren Automotive and Richard Mille concocted an adrenaline-filled day during which WorldTempus had the opportunity to test the 612 horsepower McLaren GT (serpentine colour) and the 710 horsepower McLaren 720S Spider (in the carmaker’s favourite papaya orange colour), between Switzerland and France. From 0 to 200km/h in 9 seconds for the former (with a top speed of 341km/H), you will hardly go unnoticed. My colleague Sophie Furley can confirm this with a funny story at the Swiss border.
So without further ado, check out the pictures and video below.
