Meet the Laureates of The Honours 2024

Behind every superyacht lies a story. Some of which leave a lasting impact on the lives of others and on the course of the world. Today, we’re sharing a few of these stories with you, celebrated and recognized at The Honours 2024 ceremony. We hope they ignite a spark in your hearts, inspiring you to discover the deeper meaning of yachting and how one person’s journey can help chart the course for many others.

Frédéric Jousset, ArtExplorer

Driven by a passion for sailing and the arts, an innovator embarks on a mission to democratize the art world through ArtExplorer, a superyacht transforming cultural access, one destination at a time. Supported by the EU, UNESCO, and institutions like the Louvre, Jousset sees ArtExplorer as a movement to expand cultural access beyond traditional museums.

Mike Horn - Project X

The South African-born intrepid explorer is committed to educating the next generation about global environmental challenges and inspiring action to preserve the planet’s beauty. Through his Pangaea X initiative, he empowers young innovators to tackle environmental issues, fostering a deeper connection between youth and the natural world.

Nick Entwisle - Yachting Gives Back

The superyacht industry veteran channeled his passions into establishing Yachting Gives Back, a charity based in his adopted home of Mallorca. In 2019, Nick Entwisle founded the organization to combat hunger and poverty, quickly drawing support from the yachting community and evolving into a vital initiative that aids local organizations.
