This is when Baselworld, the World Watch and Jewellery Show, opens its doors to the specialist trade, as an established industry highlight. For a period of eight days, the key brands of the luxury goods sector will be presenting their innovations in Basel.
The preparations for Baselworld 2012 are advancing successfully. The current status of the planning shows that the World Watch and Jewellery Show is set to occupy the leading position within the industry this coming spring too. All the eminent watch and jewellery brands, and also all the chief suppliers of precious stones and pearls, will be present in Basel from March 8 - 15, 2012.
A unique exhibition platform providing positive stimuli
As the world's leading show, Baselworld aspires to provide positive stimuli for the industry. The show management is convinced that Baselworld will live up to this aspiration in the coming year too, and is expecting some 1,800 exhibitors and more than 100,000 professional visitors from all over the world at Baselworld 2012. The proven concept is being maintained. The exhibiting companies are being given sufficient space to present their collections and their brand worlds at a show that is clearly divided into sectors, at the topmost level.
The extensive building work for the new hall infrastructure will be interrupted for the duration of Baselworld 2012. The show will not be affected at all by the construction work which is being carried out with a view to Baselworld 2013. All the hall entrances will be available as usual. This will ensure that the New Year for the global luxury goods industry can get off to a start on March 8, 2012.
