Chronoswiss was founded in Germany in 1983 and is now a Swiss brand based in Lucerne. It passed into the hands of the Ebstein family in February 2012, and since then has been managed by Oliver Ebstein.
This entrepreneur, born in 1975, completed his education in Lausanne and at IE University in Madrid, where he obtained an MBA. He began his career in finance, before taking on various managerial roles in mid-sized international companies, mainly in the food supplement and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to his family’s purchase of Chronoswiss, when he became its CEO, Oliver Ebstein was an independent management consultant for five years, focusing on estate planning and financial restructuring for small and medium-sized enterprises.
