Mario Peserico - Eberhard & Co.
Managing Director*

Mario Peserico belongs to the league of industry professionnals who have come to understand the power of connecting your brand to historical roots and establishing longevity in an industry built on time.

After joining Eberhard & Co. in 1993 at their Italian headquarters as their Head of External Relations, Peserico moved up the ranks, becoming Sales Director three years later and then Managing Director of Eberhard & Co. in 2006. Piloting the brand alongside CEO Barbara Monti, Peserico has spent the last two decades establishing Eberhard & Co. as a competitor in the realm of finely crafted luxury timepieces. Under his leadership, the brand has managed to maintain its considerable following on the international market with watches steeped in its Swiss heritage, such as the Tazio Nuvolari collection, a tribute to the great racing driver from Mantua, as well as the Scafograf collection, which remains a cult favourite and won the Sports Watch Prize at the 2016 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.

At the beginning of the new millennium, Eberhard & Co. showed itself to become bolder and more creative, launching its visually impactful Chrono 4 in 2001, the first chronograph to have four counters aligned on the dial. And while Peserico’s own Italian roots has made him uniquely suited to establishing the brand’s strong presence in that country, the company’s Swiss roots, which date back to 1887, have remained its core value. In 2019, Eberhard & Co. marked a notable chapter in its contemporary history by inaugurating its newly renovated headquarters and museum in the historic building called the “Maison de l’Aigle” (House of the Eagle). It was named after for the emblematic eagle that Georges-Lucien Eberhard decided to set on its roof overlooking the centre of La Chaux-de-Fonds. True to its ethos of leaving its “mark on time”, the brand worked with the city’s local council to restore the majestic eagle to its former glory, placing it back atop its throne where Eberhard & Co. belongs.
