Emmanuel Vuille was born in Switzerland in 1959. After passing his federal banking exams he spent several years working in a bank before going out on his own as a financial adviser to businesses, which is where he first came into contact with the watchmaking world, in the person of Michel Parmigiani. He left self-employment in 1996 to become CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier, and subsequently of the Sandoz Family Foundation Watchmaking Centre, of which Parmigiani Fleurier is part.
In 2009, the co-founders of Greubel Forsey, Robert Greubel of France and Stephen Forsey of the UK, entrusted the operational management of Greubel Forsey to Emmanuel Vuille, which enabled them to focus on the technical and design side.
Since 2017 Emmanuel Vuille has been an independent consultant on strategy and development.
