Jérôme Lambert, a Frenchman, was born in Besançon, close to the Swiss border. He graduated with a master’s in business administration before going to work for Jaeger-LeCoultre. He has spent a total of 17 years, 11 of those at the highest level, with the Vallée de Joux manufacture. He was hired in 1996 as financial controller, and was appointed Chief Financial and Operating Officer in 1999, then CEO in 2002.
Jérôme Lambert was 43 when, in May 2013, he went to work for Montblanc International, like Jaeger-LeCoultre a member of the Richemont group, at their Hamburg headquarters. He was CEO of Montblanc until August 2018, when he was appointed CEO of the Richemont Group.
