Born in 1964 in Reigoldswil, Switzerland, Patrik P. Hoffmann has many years of experience within the watchmaking industry. A graduate in marketing from the University of Michigan (United States), he began his career in 1991 at watch manufacturer Oris SA, as head of sales for various markets. In 1996, he left his native land and moved to Malaysia, where he worked for the watch distribution company Swiss Prestige Ltd, serving as Director of Corporations for Swiss Prestige Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, and Swiss Prestige Pte Ltd, Singapore. It was during his stay in Malaysia that Patrik P. Hoffmann met Rolf W. Schnyder, then owner and President of Ulysse Nardin.
Patrik P. Hoffmann joined the Swiss watch manufacturer in 1999 as Vice-President and Director of the regional North American and Caribbean office and played a significant role in the development and success of the brand in North and Central America. In 2008, he became Vice-President of International Sales and Marketing and in April 2011, following the sudden passing of Rolf W. Schnyder, Patrik P. Hoffmann was appointed to the position of CEO of Ulysse Nardin.
In May 2018, Patrik P. Hoffmann was appointed Executive Vice-President of Watchbox Switzerland, the new Swiss brand of the online second-hand watch dealer.
