Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates the Grand-Opening of its first boutique in Japan.

November 9th, 2016, saw the official opening celebration of the first Japanese flagship Boutique in Tokyo, on Ginza Namiki Street. Daniel Riedo, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO and Stefano Bossi, Jaeger-LeCoultre Brand Manager in Japan, personally welcomed 150 guests and officially inaugurated the boutique. Special Guest, Maki Tamaru, wore a Reverso by Christian Louboutin from the Atelier Reverso.

On this occasion, exclusive watches were on display at the boutique: the grande complication watch Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon, a high jewellery piece with exuding femininity the Reverso One High Jewellery, and a 101 Joaillerie with the smallest caliber in the world invented by Jaeger-LeCoultre as well as a 1930’s Reverso from the Heritage collection.

Entirely in tune with the prestige of Ginza Namiki Street, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre flagship Boutique covers 100-square-meter space on a single floor, devoted to the timepieces from the Manufacture, amid a revamped interior design pervaded by a sense of discreet luxury, serene intimacy and elegant refinement entirely in tune with current tastes.

A unique location where Jaeger-LeCoultre will turn the spotlight on artistry and craftsmanship, two themes that have been part of the Brand since 1833. Grand Complications and High Jewellery pieces, epitomizing the various artistic crafts mastered by the Manufacture - gemsetting, enamelling, engraving, and mastery of horological complications - will also be showcased in this exceptional venue, as well as the Atmos clocks.

Also an invitation to enter the fascinating world of the Manufacture and discover the expertise and virtuosity of its watchmaking experts united under the same roof, the boutique features a special area reserved for a Jaeger-LeCoultre watchmaker who will handle maintenance, repairs and other interventions and ultimately share his passion.
