At the prize giving ceremony a unique timepiece was awarded to the winner Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
His new Reverso Grand Taille has an engraving with the Global Champion Tour Logo and “Germany 2011" on its case back - a true insignia of his victory in the first leg of the Tour.

At the second leg of the Tournament on Saturday June 11, 2011 Australian Edwina Alexander won the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Cannes.
Cannes is a very special horse show. The world's best riders and their top horses come to the city to enjoy the top sport of the famous Global Champions Tour stage and the glamorous ambiance.

Australian Edwina Alexander won the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Cannes title and received the Reverso Grand Taille engraved with the Global Champion Tour Logo and "France 2011" as she scored a major highlight of her career with her partner horse Cevo Itot de Chateau.
This year's victory is her second win in Cannes.
The Global Champions Tour ranking is updated after each leg of the tour based on the scores derived from the rider's performances:
