Jaermann & Stübi, which specializes in premium golf watches, is intensifying its existing collaboration with St Andrews Links, The Home of Golf, and will be equipping this historic venue with clocks designed to match the watches: Jaermann & Stuebi is now the official supplier and official timekeeper for St Andrews Links.
One shouldn't play golf with a mechanical watch unless that watch is a Jaermann & Stübi. The unique timepieces from Jaermann & Stuebi all feature a special patented shock guard, which neutralizes shocks during the game, allowing the timepiece to be worn during a round of golf.
Most of the timepieces feature a unique stroke counter, which is a recently patented invention. There is one counter for strokes per hole, a second counter to keep track of total strokes per game, and a retrograde counter to display holes played. A secured pusher resets the first counter automatically and the counters can all be reset when the game is finished.
The Swiss watch brand Jaermann & Stuebi is located in Zurich where the exclusive watches were developed and produced.
