Founded in 1738, Montres Jaquet Droz immediately focused on prestigious models and unique pieces. For each era throughout its history, innovation has been the very core of the brand's identity and the brand lays yet another stepping stone in its pathway of success with its new showcase.

The watchmaker's new head office has made its home in the small, green valley of Le Crêt-du-Locle, nestled in the Neuchâtel Mountains, Switzerland, at the same place where Pierre Jaquet Droz set up his first manufacture in 1738. The structure is more of a work of art than a work of architecture as, mindful of the natural surroundings, the Swiss architects mandated with the project have experimented with contrast in the building's design and presence.

Since summer 2010, this new 2500-squere-meter site has been offering Jaquet Droz the potential to meet the markets' increasing demand and development ambitions of his new President, Marc A. Hayek. A showcase for the brand's technical expertise and craftsmanship, the Atelier of Haute Horlogerie will eventually be able to accommodate closed to a hundred employees.
