Yesterday Martin Braun officially announced the opening of his new workshop in Alpnach, outside of Lucerne.
Braun will begin a new chapter in his illustrious career with in-house movements that range from reliable base movements to complicated specialties. These are expected to be introduced to the market in the late spring of 2010.
“My new factory with its state-of-the-art equipment will be producing beautiful products next year,” Braun happily reported. “I have developed new movements and complications that will astound watch collectors worldwide.”
Braun is best known for his astronomical complications and award-winning Eos models. It is currently unclear whether he will be able to build upon these in the future.
